To all the soon-to-be moms for the first time, we can agree that there are so many things that you may worry about while you are pregnant. One of those things for me was my baby shower. I was soon about to be a mom for the first time, and I wanted everything to be perfect. I had imagined a great family gathering, something cute with lots of details. I wanted something unforgettable.
My husband surprised me by hiring Gioanna as the planner and coordinator for my baby shower. As you can imagine, I was very surprised and very pleased as I looked around the room at all the little details. The tables were beautifully decorated, the personalized favors with the date, the cake, the buffet table, the gift table, the music, all the fun games and entertainment, everyone had a blast, and everyone participated without any exceptions, making my day unforgettable! Gioanna was very well organized and stuck to her timeline, which worked great with our guests. I am so glad my husband hired her. Thank you for a beautiful baby shower! Thank you for such a beautiful and precious baby shower! It was exactly, and even much more, than I could have imagined. I can remember it as if it was yesterday when I walked through those doors and I could see the stuffed animals in the center of each table, the way in which the decorations were very detailed, and it meant so much to me. Every young girl dreams of a perfect wedding and of that special day being a dream come true! But just thinking about all the stuff that I needed to plan for my wedding, I realized I didn’t really know where to start. I just wanted a lot of things and for my day to be beautiful and special, but I definitely needed help. So I decided to hire a professional to help me from beginning to end and to be in charge of every little detail of my wedding. I hired Gioanna Johnson as my wedding planner and coordinator.
When I needed to find a bridal gown, I didn’t know where to go, so Gioanna did research and found me stores that were within my location and price range. Not only did she research for vendors, but with my permission, she scheduled all my appointments and also accompanied me to my bridal gown fitting and came with me and my bridesmaids to their dress fittings for advice.
She had everything planned on time and she always reminded me of things and tasks that needed to be done well in advance in order for me to make them fit into my work schedule. That’s one of the things I really like about her. As part of the package that I chose, she designed and made all my floral arrangements for the ceremony and reception. She created my bouquet, which was beautiful, big, and had the flowers and colors that I chose, as well as a toss bouquet! She designed my bridesmaid’s bouquets and pin-on boutonnieres, all part of the full package, which was way worth it being that we saved the cost of hiring a separate florist. Every detail was unforgettable for me and my guests.
Our photographer, Ben, was amazing. He did our engagement pictures and we hired him to do our wedding. We absolutely love our pictures! He is great to work with. What stands out the most about Gioanna? I was impressed with the patience, the organization, and the love that she put into planning my wedding. I’m truly grateful for her help and for everything that she did to make my day unforgettable.

I used The Vow Wedding and Events (Gioanna) for my son’s 4th birthday party. I must say the party was a major success! I was very satisfied with how everything turned out. Gioanna did everything from planning, set up, organization, entertainment, invites, and photos (the whole package)! It was more than I imagined my son’s party to be, as it was a “soccer theme”.
Something I loved was how instead of your typical boring “goodie bags”, Gioanna had “water bottles” filled with goodies (hence the soccer theme) and for a few toddlers at the party she got “sippy cups” filled with goodies! Such a small detail, but a very useful and unique way to have your money well spent! I definitely plan on doing business with her again in the future!

I hired Gioanna to help me plan my niece’s graduation party. I wanted to do something more elegant, so I did a banquet in her honor. It was an absolute hit! What I like the most was Gioanna’s organization skills, her attention to detail, her willingness to do everything, all the decorations, and the set-up of the room was beautiful. Not only did Gioanna plan and coordinate this banquet, but outside of her responsibility, she was also a lot of help. I really appreciated her advice and how she explained everything. She made me feel secure in what I was doing and who else around me was helping out. There was no CAOS! I recommend Gioanna for so many reasons, but the most important one is… if you want to be relaxed and enjoy your event like I did, then hire her! You won’t regret it. I am so impressed with Gioanna’s skills as a wedding coordinator. When my husband and I approached her, we presented a number of challenges. We had a less than ideal budget, were tight on time to actually plan, and I wasn’t all that knowledgeable about what I truly wanted. Our wedding ceremony and reception were a difficult task at hand, and Gioanna’s finesse and tenacity proved to be more than capable of handling it. Every bride wants the reassurance that in the event of an emergency, her most prized day will not be ruined. We had an unexpected severe ice storm the evening prior to our wedding, but it appeared as though nothing had skipped a beat thanks to Gioanna.
She was incredibly organized and she paired it well with her attention to detail. She was simply wonderful at taking the desires in my heart and making them into a reality. Thanks to her, I have spent the last five years admiring our pictures and remain amazed that we were able to pull off such a fantastic celebration that was so beautiful.

There is nothing better than hiring a professional to plan and coordinate your wedding, and as for my experience, Gioanna was the best help I could ever ask for. When my husband and I got engaged, I was clueless as to where to start and the steps to take to plan our wedding, but luckily I had my wedding planner, Gioanna, with me every step of the way! She researched and gave us different options for wedding venues in our area. She scheduled appointments with my venue, caterer, and cake tester, and even came with me to all my appointments for advice and so much more. She was always willing and available. I would call her a lot throughout the week with questions and she always answered with a great attitude.
I love how this platinum package is so cost-effective. Not only do you get a planner and a coordinator for your wedding, but you also get the service of a florist! Plus, you get an engagement photo session for free. Let me start by saying that she designed and made all my flower decorations, from my chapel decorations, centerpieces to wedding party bouquets. All I can say is that I was pretty impressed with them. They were just beautiful. She planned and scheduled my venue tours, my taste tastings, my dress visiting and even came with me for advice.
If you are nervous about the photographer …don’t be! Ben is great. He is very pleasant to work with. My husband and I felt so comfortable with him that we hired him to be our photographer at our wedding. The best decision ever made. Our pictures were beautiful! I love how everything was really organized; she was there to coordinate my rehearsal and was present all day on the day of my wedding to coordinate every single detail. I was stress-free for sure. Communication was great, and at the rehearsal she handed out wedding timelines and reminder sheets for the wedding party, which were very helpful. The only thing I had to worry about was looking stunning in my bridal gown! Overall, I just want to say that I had the wedding of my dreams thanks to my wedding planner and coordinator, Gioanna, who made it all possible. Thanks again for all your help!

We hired Gioanna to help us plan and coordinate our wedding and it’s the best decision we have made. We are very satisfied with how our wedding turned out. When we first met, I had no idea where to start, but I didn’t really know what I wanted. Because my wedding was cost-effective, I chose to have the wedding ceremony and reception in the same room, so as I walked down the aisle, my guests were at their tables. My husband and I decided to celebrate our daughter’s 15th birthday. Our event was small, around 50 or so, and our budget wasn’t much. Gioanna planned and coordinated our party. She decorated and set up the whole room. She made small but very elegant fresh flower arrangements for the center of the tables. She provided a photography service, as well. I loved the theme and colors. I was very satisfied and would definitely recommend The Vow services!
